Problem & solution

Raw clock-in and clock-out records do not tell the whole story. Missing punches, overnight shifts, schedule changes and pay policies all affect how a working day is interpreted. People need a way to review the records before using them for payroll.

CenturisTime collects attendance from compatible LAN devices or USB exports, organizes records into reviewable sessions and hours, and brings scheduling and payroll preparation into the same desktop workspace.

Engineering decisions

Repeatable imports

Attendance synchronization handles repeated records without duplicating them. Timeouts and error handling keep connection failures from trapping the interface in a loading state.

One calculation path

Payroll preview and generation share a calculation engine. Historical pay rates are resolved by date, and finalized periods are protected from ordinary edits.

Local records, bilingual workflows

Attendance data is stored in a local SQLite database with encrypted snapshots. The application supports English and Arabic across the same employee, schedule and payroll workflows.
